The Initial Consultation is approximately 60 minutes in duration. The time is used to take a comprehensive history. The following is performed during your initial assessment: a body composition analysis, an analysis of recent biochemical or blood results, a diet/nutrition history to explore your daily or weekly food intake, and a clinical examination to identify signs related to nutrition abnormalities. Here, we outline your key areas of dysfunction, and begin to layout our therapeutic action plan!
If required, blood or other laboratory tests may be ordered to assist in uncovering physiologic patterns linked to clinical imbalances.
Time between appointments differ according to your needs and laboratory tests ordered.
The Follow-Up Consultation will differ for each individual. The individualised treatment plan is adjusted according to the outcomes of the initial assessment, your body's response to interventions, your goals, and your readiness for change. Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes in duration.
Online Consultations are conducted similarly to in-house consultations; however, a body composition assessment is not able to be performed. Receive evidence-based, compassionate care and tailored nutritional plans from the comfort of your home.
Nutrition is a science, meaning that it needs to be translated by a well-trained mind to ensure public understanding. Evidence-based, informative and engaging sessions for events and wellness days are on offer.
